For the second time in just six years, Kicks Unlimited martial arts studio will expand its operations at its Fitchburg location. The official Grand Re-Opening will be held at its new location in December 2010 with the exact date to be determined. The event will include free food and beverages, free karate passes for all kids and free self-defense passes for all teens and adults.
Kicks Unlimited has grown to be one of the most respected martial arts studios in the country. Jason Huett opened the first Kicks Unlimited in 2002 and his system quickly grew to three locations—Sun Prairie, Middleton, and Fitchburg. Huett trained in Los Angeles and returned from Hollywood with credits including appearances in ER, The Power Rangers, Legally Blonde, and the most recent blockbuster—Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp.
Kicks Unlimited offers classes in American Tae Kwon Do, West Coast style kick boxing, and streetwise self-defense for adults and kids including parent/kid classes with a focus on fitness and an emphasis on fun, safe, personalized instruction. The new facility will also allow Kicks Unlimited to offer a wider variety of classes as well as more space for its already lively class schedule.
“I am so grateful to that Fitchburg has been so receptive to my school. A business can only be as good as its customers and staff and I feel I have the best of both. Over the last eight years we have seen many changes and experienced many challenges in keeping up with not only the change, but also the growth,” says Huett. “This expansion is mainly due to the rapid enrollment we’ve experienced in Fitchburg as well as a unique opportunity to lease additional space next to the current operation. With the growth and available space this is a much needed move that will help us improve the service we provide to our students and parents.”
After the upgrade is complete Kicks Unlimited Fitchburg will be host nearly 7,500 square feet and will be one of the largest martial arts studios in the Midwest. Kicks Unlimited will be adding new class options including traditional martial arts, self-defense, family martial arts classes, and personalized martial arts training programs.
